Effective against a wide range of bacteria
Useful in severe and hospital-acquired infections
Helps treat antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections

Usage Instructions
This injection should be administered by a qualified healthcare professional.
It is usually given intravenously (IV) in a hospital or clinical setting.
The dosage depends on the type and severity of infection and patient condition.
Do not self-administer the injection.
Mechanism of Action
Imipenem works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death. Cilastatin inhibits the enzyme renal dehydropeptidase I, which normally breaks down imipenem in the kidneys. By blocking this enzyme, cilastatin increases the effectiveness and duration of imipenem, allowing it to fight infections more effectively.
